Huge congrats to our Club members who represented Inver Colpa in 11 races at the Provinces Irish Rowing Championships in UL Limerick recently.
It was an impressive medal haul, taking home 2 Golds and 3 Silvers after a hard day’s racing:
Silver for Lisa-Marie Campbell in 1000m Ladies 34-42, 6th in 500m Ladies 40-49
Gold for Cliona Murphy Fitzpatrick in 2000m LW Ladies 30-39, 11th in 500m LW OpenSilver for Christine Cowap in 2000m LW Ladies 40-49, 4th in 500m LW Open (narrowly missing the bronze by .1 of a second)Silver for Claire Corcoran in 2000m Ladies 40-49 & Gold + new Irish Record in 500m Ladies 40-49Martin Murphy also competed 3 races: 6th in 2000m Mens 50-59, 4th in 1000m Mens 50-54 and 10th in 500m in Mens 50-59
The crew are all buzzing to start the training again for the Nationals in January
