This put the club on the map for the first time in the rowing community.<\/li>\n<li>18k River Barrow Challenge in September. Same women\u2019s crew came in 1st place in their category &amp; won the club\u2019s trophy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2014<\/strong> \u2013 First Boyne Boat Race took place alongside the Maritime Festival in the summer. Our women\u2019s crew came second with a mixed crew also taking part in a skiff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2015<\/strong> &#8211; Second Boyne Boat Race took place again alongside the Maritime Festival in the summer. 1 mixed crew took part coming second.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2016<\/strong> \u2013 the club continued their summer trips to Glenarm on the Antrim coast for sprint races during the summer, along with the 18k River Barrow Challenge.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">2017<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In September, a mixed crew took part in the Donegal Bay 10k Challenge, taking 2nd place with a mixed crew on the day.<\/li>\n<li>Two weeks later the club took on the 18k River Barrow Challenge, with the Men&#8217;s team taking 2nd place with a time of 1hr 23mins and the Mixed team also doing very well.<\/li>\n<li>Third Boyne Boat Race took place after a year\u2019s break.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fourth Boyne Boat Race took place. 2 of our women\u2019s crew helped to take 1st place at the Glenarm Sprints in the summer, where a mixed crew also came 2nd.<\/li>\n<li>At the Lambay Challenge in September, the men\u2019s crew came 2nd in their category<\/li>\n<li>Wexford All Ireland\u2019s, women\u2019s &amp; men\u2019s crew took part in a Currach &amp; all took home a medal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fifth Boyne Boat Race took place where a mixed crew took second place. 2 novice crews took part in the 18k River Barrow Challenge that year also. The women\u2019s crew took 3rd place that year at the Castle sprints on the Antrim coast, while the novice mixed crew took first place in Glenarm with the men\u2019s crew taking first place.<\/li>\n<li>September Lambay Challenge, mixed crew came 1st in their category<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2020<\/strong> \u2013 The Covid Year \u2639<\/p>\n<p><strong>2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>September Lambay Challenge, mixed crew came 2nd in their category<\/li>\n<li>October \u2013 Round Rockabill, men\u2019s crew took part.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sixth Boyne Boat Race took place after 2 year\u2019s break with the men\u2019s crew winning the inaugural Cassidy Cup and the women placing 2nd in their category.<\/li>\n<li>2 crews took part in the Whitehead Sprints, taking two 2nd places and one 3rd place.<\/li>\n<li>In September the men\u2019s crew won the Islandmagee Challenge, beating off strong competition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Seventh Boyne Boat Race took place on April 30th.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eight Boyne Boat Race took place on May 5th \u2013 3 crews (2 mixed, 1 womens) \u2013 one mixed crew won back The Cassidy Cup.<\/li>\n<li>The club attended Round the Rock in Glenarm with the\u00a0 men&#8217;s crew taking 4th place in the open men&#8217;s and 5th place in the overall men\u2019s and the ladies taking 1st place in the open women\u2019s and 2nd place in the overall women\u2019s.<\/li>\n<li>At the Whitehead Regatta our veteran ladies took home gold in their category.<\/li>\n<li>The club attended the All Irelands in Dingle for the first time since pre-Covid.<\/li>\n<li>The club entered some crews into Round Rockabill hosted by Skerries Rowing\u00a0 Club, and won the overall One Design category.<\/li>\n<li>Our men&#8217;s crew took home the Spirit of Fingal award at the Lambay Challenge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"xdj266r x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs x126k92a\">\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"auto\">The club took home 1st &amp; 2nd place in the Open Women&#8217;s One Design category and 2nd &amp; 3rd place in the Open Men&#8217;s One Design category at the Strangford Coastal Rowing Spring Series.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Ninth Boyne Boat Race took place on May 4th \u2013 3 mixed crews competed from the club and one mixed crew won back The Cassidy Cup again.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Our ladies team came first in their category, with our mixed team taking second in theirs at the Cushendun Regatta.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">We took home bronze in both the Veteran Ladies &amp; Open Ladies along with silver in the Veteran Mixed at <span class=\"html-span xdj266r x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak xexx8yu xyri2b x18d9i69 x1c1uobl x1hl2dhg x16tdsg8 x1vvkbs\" style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"><span class=\"xt0psk2\"><span class=\"xjp7ctv\">Castle Rowing Club&#8217;s Regatta.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">We took home the Silver in both the Veteran Ladies and Open Ladies, along with the Gold in the Veteran Mixed, Silver in the Novice Mixed and Bronze in the Masters Mixed at <span class=\"html-span xdj266r x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak xexx8yu xyri2b x18d9i69 x1c1uobl x1hl2dhg x16tdsg8 x1vvkbs\"><span class=\"xt0psk2\"><span class=\"xjp7ctv\">Whitehead Coastal Rowing Club&#8217;s Regatta.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">An historic day in Glenarm, Co.
